Reinsman Fixed Ring Stainless & Copper Bit

This is a great looking Reinsman bit with brown iron and dot trim fixed dee cheeks. The fixed dees apply pressure to the horse's lip on the opposite side of the face from the rein you pull for better flexion so it's ideal to ride with two hands and direct rein. It's great for starting horses, training, or maintaining steady contact. The stainless snaffle mouth has copper inlays because copper causes the horse to salivate which helps keep his mouth soft and supple. This bit should be in your tack room! Copper is a soft metal, check for excessive wear before each ride.
